Rythu Nestham Live Programme (Episode-28 Date: 15.10.2024)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 28th episode was conducted live from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 15-10-2024 from 10.00 AM – 11.30 AM. The program commenced with Sri. DarmapuriSudershan, a progressive farmer from Mudhole (Village), Mudhole (Mandal), Adilabad(District) explained his experience on Cultivation of Bengal Gram” followed by a session on Management practices to be followed in cultivation of rabi Bengal gram by Dr.K.Vijay Kumar Scientist(Plant Breeding), ARS, Mudhole, Later in the session Dr.N.R.G.Verma, Principal Scientist (Entomology), Rice Research Centre, Rajendranagar, explained on pest management strategies to be followed in standing crops viz; rice and cotton under prevailing weather conditions. Sri. Vinod Kumar ADA, RythuNestham Section, Directorate of Agriculture explained the precautions to be taken while reaping rice with machine harvesters and Fair average quality parameters to be maintained. The program was presided by Dr.M.Sreenivasulu, Principal Scientist [Extn] and Head , Electronic Wingalong with scientists, Officials from Directorate of Agriculture and District and Mandal level Agriculture and allied department officials and 13000 farmers from 566 RythuVedikas across the state.
