Rythu Nestham Live Program (Episode-31: Date: 5-11-2024)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 31st episode was conducted live from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 5-11-2024 from 10.00 AM – 11.30 AM. The program commenced with the interactive discussion on Weed control measures in Rabi crops by Dr. T. Ram Prakash, Principal Scientist and Head AICRP on Weed Control Rajendranagar, Hyderabad and requested farmers to spray herbicides as recommended dose only. Dr.Rama Krishna Scientist [Entomology] AICRP on Bio Control Lab answered the questions raised by farmers on Rice and Rabi crops. Followed by PJTAU awardee Farmers Sri. Venugopal Reddy, Rajanna Sircilla District and Sri M.Shyam Sunder Reddy ,Manchiryal District shared their experiences about Successful Farmer producer organization and Integrated Farming System as sustainable income source for farmers . The Programme was attended Dr.B.Gopi, IAS, Director of Agriculture, Dr. M. Sreenivasulu, Coordinator of the Electronic Wing, along with his team from PJTAU and Officials from Directorate of Agriculture and District level Department of Agriculture and farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas across the state.
