Rythu Nestham Live Programme [Episode-42] Dt:04.02.2025

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 42nd episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 04-02-2025 from 10.00 AM – 11.30 AM. The chief Guest of the programme Dr.M.Yakadri, Director of Extension, PJTAU congratulated the team Rythu Nestham on completing 41 episodes in the service of farmers, he emphasized the use of ICT tools for effective transfer of technology. The topic of discussion was dealt by Dr.V.Suneetha Sr.Scientist AICRP on Vertebrate Pest Management Rajendranagar who explained various measures to control Vertebrate / wild boar in field crops. Sri. Sharan , a progressive farmer from Marvelly village, Vatepally mandal, Sangareddy district shared his experience in using solar fencing around Jowar field against wild boar attack. Later in the session Dr. J. Hemanth Kumar, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Aswaraopet, explained various control measures in managing pest and diseases on Chilli crop. The programme was hosted by Dr. M.Sreenivasulu, Coordinator of the Electronic Wing along with his team from PJTAU and Officials from Directorate of Agriculture and Department of Agriculture and about 12000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
