Rythu Nestham Live video conference Program (Episode-47 Date: 11.03.2025)

Rythu Nestam Live video conferencing 47th episode was conducted from Electronic Wing Studio of PJTAU on 11-03-2025 from 10.00 AM – 11.30 AM. At the outset of the programme Dr.G.Sreenivas Director ARI, PJTAU presented on how summer crops have to be managed under raising temperatures, followed by Dr.Ch. Damodhar Raju Principal Scientist Rice, Institute of Rice Research, ARI, PJTAU briefed about management of paddy crop under raising temperatures. Later Sri.Thummala Nageshwar Rao, The Honourable Minister of Agriculture, gave directions to Officials and participants of Rythu Nestham programme to get involved in each programme with greater enthusiasm and make need based technical discussions on crop management. Prof. Aldas Janaiah, Vice Chancellor PJTAU Inaugurated Video conference facility at Electronic Wing , 3 RARSs and 8 KVKs in the presence of Dr. G.E. Ch Vidhya Sagar, Registrar, PJTAU, Dr.M. Balram Director of Research, Dr.M.Yakadri Director of Extension, PJTAU and Dr. B. Gopi Director of Agriculture, Telangana State, participated in the occasion virtually. The Vice Chancellor, instructed Scientists of different centres and Farmers of Rythu Nestham to utilize the new digital facility for greater success in their farm decisions. The programme was attended by Associate Directors of all the three zones, PCs along with staff of 8 KVKs, officials of Department of Agriculture from Directorate of Agriculture and officials of line departments and about 10000 farmers from 566 Rythu Vedikas participated in the programme across the state.
