Rythu Sadassu cum Agriculture Exhibition on 20-11-2019 Organised by Daattc, Nalgonda

Rythu sadassu cum Agriculture exhibition was organized by RAWEP students in collaboration with DAATT Centre, Nalgonda in Chandanapally village of Nalgonda mandal and district at Community hall on 20-11-2019. Dr. K. Avil Kumar, Associate Director of Research, Southern Telangana Zone and Dr.M.A.Arrif khan , Programme Coordinator, KVK, Kampasagar are the chief guests of the programme. ADR inaugurated the Exhibition stall and visited the models prepared by the students and appreciated their efforts. Students displayed and explained the concepts, themes in brief. The students arranged about 48 stalls as a part of the Agriculture exhibition which includes Integrated farming system, Types of mulching, Biogas, New paddy varieties of PJTSAU, water shed, Vertical Farming, Alternate wetting and Drying in Rice, Solar Fencing, Millets importance, Rain water harvesting, Monkey gun, waste decomposer, Waste management. IPM in Rice, IPM in Cotton and Farm ponds.etc. Around 100 number of school children and 150 farmer's from different villages have utilized the opportunity and visited the exhibition models. After the exhibition Sh.G.Narendar, Scientist (Crop Production) and Coordinator (i/c) welcomed the guests on to the Dais and programme started by lightening of lamp followed by University Song. Later he explained the Aim and importance of RAWEP and brief activities done by RAWE students in toto to the dignitaries, officials and farmers. Students from different villages shared their experience about the RAWEP and few host farmers expressed that the programme is very helpful to the villages also as this increases the practical knowledge and continuous Field visits,. Dr.K.Avil Kumar appreciated the efforts of students and DAATTC for organizing Rythu sadassu. He interacted with farmers on the issues of emerging problems like water scarcity and unavailability of Labour. At last, the programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by B.Madhushekar, Scientist (TOT, DAATTC, Nalgonda).
