Rythusadassu and Agricultural Exhibition was organized by RAWEP students attached to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 27-01-2021

As part Rural Agricultural Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) 2020-21, students studying final year B.Sc (Ag), College of Agriculture, Aswaraopet, Agricultural College, Jagityal and Palem attached to KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem organized a Rythusadassu cum Agricultural Exhibition at Pathaanjanapuram village, Sujathanagar Mandal. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator along with Smt. Bhukya Vijaya Laxmi (MPP, Sujathanagar) has inaugurated the Exhibition stall and viewed the models and exhibits displayed by the students. Dr. R. Vishwatej, SMS (Extension) welcomed the guests on to the Dias and explained the importance of RAWE Programme and Rythu Sadassu cum Agricultural Exhibition organized by RAWEP students to the farmers. Dr. T. Pavani, Asst. Professor & PR (Aswaraopeta) explained about the activities at College of Agriculture and importance of RAWE programme for the agricultural graduates. Students displayed and explained the concepts, themes in brief on on Drum Seeder Technology, Direct broadcasting of paddy, Alternate wetting and Drying in Paddy, Integrated Farming System (IFS), Types of Mulching, protective clothing while spraying, water conservation methods and Solar Energy etc. and also shared their experiences in during the RAWE programme to the audience. Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma congratulated the students for organizing the rythu sadassu with a large gathering and appreciated the preparing suitable models and explaining to the farmers. A total of 53 farmers participated in the event and interacted with students and clarified their doubts with the students. Later, students has proposed vote of thanks for PC and SMS of KVK, Agricultural officers, local representatives, farmers and media for making the programme successful.
