SABM - CA- Training Program on Women Entrepreneurship Development on from 18.11.2022 to 01.12.2022

The School of Agribusiness Management, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University conducted a 12 days training program on “Women Entrepreneurship Development” program for 32 women from lower economic strata of the society to build skills to start a small enterprise from 18.11.2022 to 01.12.2022 in association with Samunnati Foundation. The women were trained in five different skills Viz., Mushroom cultivation, Papad, Namkeen and mixture making, Osmania biscuits, Ragi biscuits and Cupcakes, Maggam work and Millet primary processing, Millet murukulu and Millet laddus. The participants were also trained in business skills like identifying market opportunities, book keeping, sources of funds, documentation, various schemes available etc. Motivational speeches also formed part of the training program. The business plans made by nine groups were evaluated by experts and useful suggestions were given. The valedictory of the training program was held on 01.12.2022, which was chaired by Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar who also distributed the certificate to the participants. Dr. P. Radhika, Professor & Head, Dr. Ch. Srilatha, Assistant Professor and Smt. A.V. Laksmi Brinda, Teaching Associate, School of Agribusiness Management, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar are coordinating the program.
