Conducted a Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC 2025-26) meeting on 06.03.2025 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem.

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem has conducted Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC 2025-26) meeting at Seminar Hall, Bhadradri Kothagudem on 06.03.2025. Dr. N. Praveen, Professor, EEI, chaired the SAC meeting as DE nominee. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, CTZ, RARS, Warangal graced the event and welcomed the participants and briefly explained about of the agenda of SAC meeting and suggested to give crisp presentations. The meeting started with opening remarks by the chairman who suggested to propose action plan to cater to the farmer’s needs. Dr. V. Laxmi Narayanamma, Programme coordinator, KVK, Bhadradri, Kothagudem presented overall activities of KVK, Bhadradri Kothagudem and each scientist presented their work done of technical programme 2024-2025 and action plan for 2025-26. Sri Shoban, ADA, Technical, Kothagudem, Sri G. Lalchand, ADA, Yellandu Mandal, Sri Ravi Kumar, ADA, Aswaraopeta Mandal, Smt Sravani, Horticulture Officer, Smt. Meenakshi, Horticulture Officer, Bhadradri Kothagudem, line departments Officials of Bhadradri Kothagudem district and 15 No. of progressive farmers from different villages of Bhadradri Kothagudem district have participated in the SAC meeting and gave suggestions for overall development of farming community. Dr. R. Uma Reddy, Associate Director of Research, Warangal suggested for promotion of Intercropping, pulses production in the district and to create awareness programme on seed production in Dhaincha crop. Dr. N. Praveen, Professor, EEI has given the concluding remarks and suggestions for improving extension activities of the station.
