“Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" (75th Anniversary of India's Independence), occasion of "Samvidhan Diwas" (Constitution Day) with " Jan Bagidari" on 26th November, 2021 was organized by the NSS Wing of College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, PJTSAU to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. The programme is graced by Dr. C. Narendra Reddy, Associate Dean, addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Constitution day and recalled that, on 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, which came into effect from 26th January 1950. Associate Dean has explained the Fundamental Rights, Fundamental Duties of the Indian constitution and remembered the commitment and hard work paid by the great personalities while drafting the Indian constitution also emphasized on the importance of the integrity and ethics in the professionalism for successful living. The NSS Programme Officers, Officer In-charge of Student Activities (OISA), teaching, non-teaching staff and students paid floral tributes to the father of Indian constitution, Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar. On the occasion, the NSS wing of the college administered oath to all the participants by reading the preamble of the Indian constitution under the guidance of the Associate Dean. Later, a rally was organized where in the Teaching, Non-Teaching, Contract/Out sourcing Staff and students participated in the rally. They gave slogans on fundamental rights and fundamental duties provided in the Indian constitution.
