Smt. Savitribai Phule’s 191th Jayanthi Celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal

Smt. Savitribai Phule’s 191th jayanthi celebrations were held at Agricultural College, Warangal on 03-01-2022. The Associate Dean Dr. M. Balram garlanded the protrait of Smt. Savitribai Phule and paid floral tribute. He addressed the gathering by praising the eminent qualities of Savitribai phule who was an Indian social reformer and educationalist. Also mentioned that Savitribai and her husband were first to run girls' school in India. She worked to abolish the discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on caste and gender. At the end of the celebrations Associate Dean of Agricultural College, Warangal has presented rose flowers to all women faculty as a token of appreciation. All the teaching and non-teaching staff of Agricultural College, Warangal participated in the programme and paid floral tributes to Smt. Savitribai Phule by following all measures of COVID-19.
