Scientific Advisory Committee Meeting at KVK, Kampasagar on 24-02-2021

As per the instructions of Director, ATARI, Hyderabad and Director of Extension, PJTSAU, Hyderabad the Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting for the year 2021 pertaining to Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar held on 24.02.2021 at its own premises. Dr.Ch.Damodhar Raju (ADR, RARS, Palem, STZ) chairman of the Programme, Dr.Shireesha (DE, Nominee & Scientist, EEI, Rajendranagar), Dr.M.Shankaraiah garu, (PC, KVK, Kampasagar), Dr.M.Govardhan (Senior Prof & Head, ARS, Kampasagar), Dr.I.Swarnalatha Devi (Principal, APT, Kampasagar), Dr.M.Sujatha (Principal Scientist, Oil seeds, RARS, Palem), and KVK Scientists participated in the meeting. Department officials viz., Smt.Sucharita Garu (DFO, Nalgonda), Sri.Rammohan Reddy Garu (Dy.EE, I & CAD), Sri. Jagadheeshwar reddy garu (ADA, Haliya), Sri. Vidyasagar garu (HO, Nakarekal), Smt. Bharati garu (Assistant Director of industries), Smt.Mamatha garu (CDPO, Miryalaguda) participated in the meeting and expressed the major problems of Nalgonda district. Dr.Ch.Damodhar Raju, ADR, RARS, Palem and chairman of the Programme addressed the gathering about the importance of the meeting and requested the department officials and farmers to provide their valuable suggestions for proposing the Action Plan for the year 2021-22. Later, Dr.M.Shankaraiah, PC, KVK, Kampasagar briefed the profile of Nalgonda district and also explained the activities carried out by the KVK for the year 2020-21.Follwed by KVK Scientists Dr.T.Bharath, SMS (Crop Production), Dr.M.Shankar, SMS (Plant Protection), Miss.T.Himabindu, SMS (Horticulture) and Mrs.S.Pallavi, SMS (Extension) presented their work done for the year 2020-21 and proposed action plan for the year 2021-22.Total 33 No. of farmers participated in the meeting.
