Second spell of Haitha Haaram conducted on 24-7-2020 at College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar

The College of Agriculture, Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad has organized the Haritha Haram programme on 24.07.2020 at its campus by planting 300 saplings. The Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr.V. Praveen Rao, Professor T. Papi Reddy, Chairman, TSCHE, Professor R. Limbadri, Vice Chairman, TSCHE participated in the event. The University Officers, Members of Board of Management, faculty both teaching and non-teaching participated in the planting activities. The different varieties of saplings which are aesthetically and environmentally promoting were planted. About 300 saplings of the tree species namely Tecoma (Golden trumpet flower tree), Silver Oak, Tabeubuia (rosy trumpet flower tree), Jakaranda, Juvviee (Ficus), Plumaria (temple tree) and other tree species were planted. The Associate Dean, NSS Unit PO’s, Green Club volunteers and the ICAR-NAHEP project took the initiative of organizing the programme which also marks the Birthday of the dynamic leader Shri K. T.Rama Rao Garu ,Minster of MA&UD, Industries & IT E&C, who always promotes planting of trees.
