Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bhadradri Kothagudem conducted seed mela on 24.05.2024. In this programme Dr. V. Lakshmi Narayanamma, Programme Coordinator addressed the gathering about the importance of seed mela and procurement of seed before the commencement of Vanakalam. She explained the seed availability in different crops with their characters. WGL – 962, a fine grain short duration variety produced at KVK farm was kept for sale. Mr. B. Shiva, SMS (Horticulture) given detailed information on Kharif field preparation in particular about the green manure crops. In this programme 55 Number of farmers participated and interacted with the scientists. The details are summarised below.
