Skill Development Training Programme under TSP at KVK, Palem on 06-02-2023 to 08-02-2023

KVK, Palem successfully organized three days skill development training program on Vermicompost production technologies to ST farmers under Tribal Sub Plan project at seminar hall of KVK, Palem on 06.02.2023 to 08.02.2023. The program was chaired by Dr. T. Prabhakar Reddy (PC, KVK, Palem) spoken about the opportunities, employment generation activities under Vermicompost and also emphasized the importance of vermicompost for enhancement of soil fertility status, methods of composting by using all the village waste. Dr. O. Shaila, (SMS-PP) presented & practically demonstrated on bedding material application, watering & sieving methods and days to watering, release of earthworms. After that distributed certificates to all the trainees for completion of training program. In this program Dr. B. Rajashekhar (SMS-AE), Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS(Horticulture) and a total of 63 participants have participated.
