Soil Test Based Fertilizer Recommendation and their Management in Different Crops 0n 12-08-2024 at RARS, Warangal

Under implementation of NABARD project on “strategies of soil health management for sustainable crop productivity” at RARS Warangal conducted one day training programme to the farmers on Soil test based fertilizer recommendation and their management in different crops. In this programme Associate Director of Research, participated and advised the farmers to go for testing the their soils with which adopt soil test based fertilizers application and advised the farmers conscious use of fertilizers. The training incharge Dr.Ch.Ramulu explained about efficient use of plant nutrients through chemical fertilizers and organic manures is a good means for increasing agriculture productivity and profitability at the same time cost of fertilizers has gone up and their optimal use is required. The Principal Scientist(PS) cotton explained about HDPS cotton, management, fertilizer application, pests and diseases management to enhance the cotton yield To educate the farmers on targetted yield based fertilizers application to crops the training programme on soil test based fertilizer recommendation and their management in different crops was conducted on 12-08-2024.
