National sports day was celebrated on 29.08.2024 at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla in the remembrance of birth anniversary of Hockey legend late Major Dyan Chand. Dr. Ch. Ramesh, OISA briefed about the importance of sports in the daily life and the achievements of Hockey legend in the game at international level in the Olympics which was the golden era in Olympics by achievement gold medals continuously in 1928, 1932 and 1936 Olympics and awards received by him at national level due to his outstanding performance. Later, faculty members and all students took a pledge on this national sports day. On the occasion of National Sports Day Volleyball, table tennis and carroms were conducted to the girls and boys students separately from 27th-31st,August 2024 at BJR Agricultural College, Sircilla.
