Sri. Konda Laxman Bapuji’s 106thJayanthi celebrations were held at Agricultural College, Warangal on 27-09-2021. The Associate Dean Dr. M. Balram garlanded the portrait of Sri. Konda Laxman Bapuji and paid floral tribute. He addressed the gathering by praising the eminent qualities of Bapuji who was an Indian freedom fighter and his participation in Telangana agitation as activist. He fought for the statehood of Telangana all his life. He was the first minister in Congress government to resign from his post for Telangana cause and for all his sacrifices in 2014 the Horticulture University in Hyderabad was named “Sri. Konda Laxman Telangana State HorticulturalUniversity” by the government of Telangana in his honour. All the teaching, non-teaching staff and students of Agricultural College, Warangal paid floral tributes to Sri. Konda Laxman Bapuji by following all measures of COVID-19.
