Sri Lanka Team visit to Aghub, PJTSAU on 29-09-2021
Dr. D. Venkateshwaran, Deputy High Commissioner, Sri Lanka visited the Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) here on Wednesday. Registrar, PJTSAU Dr. Sudheer Kumar and Director of Research Dr. Jagadeeshwar were welcomed the Deputy High Commissioner and explained about University activities. He visited several establishments in Rajendranagar campus. Later, Dr. Venkateshwaran visits the newly Inaugurated AgHub – Agri Innovation Hub of PJTSAU to understand the Agritech innovation ecosystem that is being nurtured through this platform. Dr. Sudheer Kumar explained about the AgHub. Impressed with the model and functioning of the innovation hub. The Deputy High Commissioner opined that a similar model would also help elevate the already-booming innovation and entrepreneurial environment in Sri Lanka. He further suggested a collaboration to adapt ideas and models of AgHub and successful ventures of Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), exchange of faculty and students of PJTSAU for optimal utilization of resources, propagation of technology, strengthening the relationship between both the nations and adding value to the Agritech ecosystem. He had meeting with University Officers and AgHub MD & CEO.
