The final year students of B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) 2020 – 21 batch, College of Agriculture Engineering, Sangareddy are undergoing Ready Programme at KVK, Kampasagar. Dr. M. A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator & Head and Dr. T. Bharath, SMS (Crop Production) cum students incharge at KVK, Kampasagar supervising and monitoring, guiding and supervising the activities of students since 2 months. Er. K. Sreenivas Kumar, Associate Dean, College of Agril. Engineering, Sangareddy along with Smt. C. Sreelatha, Assistant Professor and Er. Sathyanarayana, Assistant Professor monitored, records, manuals, data collection and interacted with each student the scope of mechanization in two important crops Rice and Cotton in Nalgonda and instructed to continue the further by taking assistance of different discipline Scientists available at KVK, Kampasagar. Later all Associate Dean, Group of Scientists, KVK and students (7 No.) monitored the different Demo units in KVK, Kampasagar. Finally a field visit was arranged in farmer field to monitor and observe the operation and functioning of Rice Machine Transplanter, Yanmar brand, Japan make at Mukundapuram (V), Tripuraram (M). Transplanting by Machine Transplanter is good, easy to operate in puddled soil, quick planting covering more area (1 Acre/1 hour) to overcome labour scarcity during peak planting season.
