STZ-RARS, Palem-Releasing Fingerlings into the farm pond on 15.09.2022

An area of 2 acres which was undulated, uncultivated land dugged out to a depth of 1.5 meters. Optimum water level is being maintained by KLI (Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation) water. Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research, RARS, Palem, M. Sujatha, Principal Scientist (Oilseeds), Dr. M. Parimala Kumar, Farm Superintendent released fingerlings of Common carp (Bangaru theega) and Catla (Bocha) into the farm pond on 15-09-2022.
