Swachh Bharath at Agricultural College, Jagtial on 26-09-2019

The NSS Unit of Agricultural College, Jagtial has conducted the programme on “Swachh Bharath” on the occasion of Mahathma Gandhi 150th birthday ending celebrations scheduled on 26th september 2019. As a part of the cleanliness drive, NSS Programme Officers Mr. A.Umarajashehar ,Dr.T.Srikanth, Dr.M.Vijayalakshmi organized at Agricultural College, Jagtial, premises of boys hostel and basket ball play ground and surroundings. Dr. K.B.Suneetha Devi, Associate Dean explained the “The importance of cleanliness in our lives cannot be denied. Maintaining a clean environment is required for all humans, as their health completely depends upon the atmosphere. We should maintain the environment and natural resources together in order to make the possibility of life existence forever on the earth. Achieving the goals of the Swachh Bharat Mission expeditiously will be an appropriate tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi .after cleaning surroundings of basketball play ground volunteers applied organic fertilizers to the plants which are planted in haritha haram. NSS volunteers and NSS Programme Officers, Teaching Staff of Agricultural College, Polasa, Jagtial (200 No) were attended in this programme. The swachh bharath programme was a huge success with overwhelming response from the volunteers.
