Telangana Formation Day’ on 02.06.2022 at ARS, Adilabad

As per the guidelines of the University, ‘Telangana Formation Day’ was organized on 02.06.2022 at ARS, Adilabad by hoisting the Indian national flag on 02.06.2022 at 8.30 am by Dr. V. Thirumala Rao, Sr. Scientist (Pl. Br.) & Head i/c, ARS, Adilabad. Dr. V. Thirumala Rao, Sr. Scientist (Pl. Br.) & Head i/c, ARS, Adilabad briefed about the struggle for Telangana movement and informed that, the Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) is the first University established after formation of Telangana State. This station has developed & released three Soybean varieties, Basara, Bheem & Adilabad Indore Soyachikkudu-1 during the years 2012 & 2021, respectively and Cotton non Bt. culture, Adilabad Kapas-1 (ADB-542) was also released during the year 2019. Further expressed that the, staff from bottom to top should be put their full effort to reach the station in a good position among the research stations of the University. In this occasion, Dr. D. Mohan Das, Scientist (Agro.); Dr. M. Rajendar Reddy, Scientist (Pl. Br.), AICRP-Soybean scheme; Sri G. Anil Kumar, Scientist (Pl. Br.), Cotton Scheme; Sri M. Mahesh, A.E.O., Sri J. Sumith Kumar, Rec. Asst. (Against Post of A.E.O.); Sri T. Ramulu, Office Subordinate; Non-Teaching staff members, outsourcing employees, Casual and Contract Labourers were participated in this happy event.
