Rythu sadassu cum Agricultural Exhibition on 03.06.2022 organized by DAATTC, Mudhole

Rythu sadassu cum Agriculture exhibition was organized by RAWEP students in collaboration with DAATT Centre, Mudhole in Edbid village of Mudhole mandal and Nirmal district at Government highschool on 03.06.2022. Dr. S. Narender Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Jagtial, Dr. G. Veeranna, Coordinator and Head ARS and DAATTC, Mudhole attended as chief guests of the programme. Associate Dean, Agricultural College, Jagial inaugurated the Exhibition stall and visited the models prepared by the students and appreciated their efforts. Students displayed and explained the concepts, themes in brief. The 15 models were prepared by students for exhibition which includes Integrated farming system, Types of mulching, Biogas, New paddy varieties of PJTSAU, water shed, Vertical Farming, Alternate wetting and Drying in Rice, Solar Fencing, Millets importance, Rain water harvesting, Monkey gun, Waste management. IPM in Rice, IPM in Cotton etc. After the exhibition Dr. D. Karthik, Scientist (ToT) welcomed the guests on to the dais. Later he explained the aim and importance of RAWEP and brief activities done by RAWEP students in to the dignitaries, officials and farmers. Dr. G. Veeranna, Coordinator, DAATTC, Mudhole explained different activities of DAATTC, Mudhole and explained about preparedness for Vanakalam, 2022 and interacted with farmers. Dr. Later, students from different villages shared their experience about the RAWEP and few host farmers expressed that the programme is very helpful to the villages also as this increases the practical knowledge and continuous Field visits. Mr. Ravinder Reddy (MPTC), Mr. Dattatreya (Sarpanch) and Mr. Narsa Reddy (MACS Chairman)Dr. T. Srikant, Assistant Professor, Dr. O. Sampath, OiSA, Mr. Baskar, Agricultural Officer, Mudhole and 73 farmers attended the programme.
