KVK, Wyra - Telangana formation day – 02.06.2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra celebrated Telangana Formation Day on 2nd June 2022 at KVK Wyra. Dr.Jessie Suneetha.W, SMS (Home Science) Programme Coordinator (i/c), KVK, Wyra started the programme by inviting all the scientists. The programme started by offering the flower contribution to the leaders. Then the flag hosting was done by the Dr.J. Hemantha Kumar, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Wyra followed by the Telangana song. After the song completion, the importance of the day was explained by the Dr.Jessie Suneetha.W, SMS (Home Science) and also remembering all the people who sacrificed their lives for the formation of Telangana. Dr. K. Ravi Kumar, SMS (Entomology) explained the contribution of the major people who fought for the formation of Telangana and stressed that everyone should work for the development of the state and respect the sacrifice of the people. Dr.V. Chaitanya, SMS (Horticulture) explained about the Telangana Movement and how the formation of Telangana took place. Smt. PSM. Phanisri, SMS (Extension) explained that what are the new aspirations of the newly formed state and how the development should take place for making the state excel in all the activities. Dr. D. Nagaraju, SMS (Agromet) explained that role of agricultural university in the formation of Telangana State and what is the part of agricultural university in making the state to develop in the field of agriculture. All the staff recalled about the significant events which took place in the formation of Telangana State and the key people for bringing the formation of Telangana.
