8th Telangana State Formation Day celebrations at Agricultural College, Warangal

Telangana State Formation Day or Telangana Avirbhava Dinothsavam was celebrated at RARS, Palem on 02.06.2022. All the scientists of RARS Palem, non- teaching staff and field workers were participated in the celebrations. The programme was started with garlanding the photo of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar and other national leaders by Dr. M. Goverdhan, Associate Director of Research, Regional Agricultural Research Station, Palem followed by floral tribute by individual scientists and other non-teaching staff. Later, ADR, Dr. M. Goverdhan, hoisted the National Flag which was followed by singing of Telangana song. Later at RARS Seminar hall Dr. M. Goverdhan, ADR, RARS, Palem, Dr.M.Sujatha, PS (Oil Seeds), Dr. A. Rama Krishna Babu, Coordinator, DAATTC, G. Shiva Kumar, Administrative Officer, RARS, Palem addressed the gathering and remembered the efforts laid by the Telangana people under the guidance of great leaders for achieving our separate state. They emphasized that achieving the state is not the end and every one in their respective capabilities should deliver their duties to strengthen the state in all respects. Further, highlighted that all scientific staff should work hard and deliver their contributions for the advancement of farming community. Event was ended with distribution of sweets among the gathering.
