Report on Celebration of Telangana Jateeya Samaikyata Vajrotsavalu at RARS, Palem, Nagarkurnool Dist. on 17-09-2022

RARS, Palem celebrated Telangana Jateeya Samaikyata Vajrotsavalu on 17-09-2022. All the scientists of RARS Palem, non-teaching staff and field workers participated in the celebrations amid of COVID-19 by maintaining proper social distancing and following safety measures. The program was started with garlanding the photo of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar and other national leaders by Dr.S.Maheshwaramma and Dr. A. Ramakrishna Babu, Coordinator, DAATTC and Dr. K. Kalyani, Scientist (SS&AC) followed by a floral tribute by individual scientists and other non-teaching staff. Later, ADR i/c Dr.S. Maheshwaramma hoisted the National Flag which was followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Dr. A. Ramakrishna Babu and Dr.S. Maheshwaramma addressed the gathering and remembered the efforts laid by the Telangana people under the guidance of great leaders and the sacrifices of martyrs for achieving our separate state. They emphasized that achieving the state is not the end and everyone in their respective capabilities should deliver their duties to strengthen the state in all respects. Further, highlighted that all scientific staff should work hard and deliver their contributions to the advancement of the farming community.
