Telanganaku Haritha Haram (TKHH) was conducted by Regional Agricultural Research Station, and Agricultural Polytechnic College, Polasa, Jagtial on 03.07.2021 at Regional Agricultural Research Station. In this Programme Dr. P. Jaganmohan Rao, Associate Director of Research, Jagtial, Explained the Haritha Haram is regimen which will certainly help in decreasing the pollution levels along with saving the environment and message to all staff members regarding benefits of trees, plantation of trees and said that everyone should plant at least one plant. This programme also helped in increasing the rainfall in the state and the water scarcity problem has also been decreased up to a greater extent. Dr. S. Narender Reddy, Associate Dean, Agricultural College Jagtial Explained that trees help us to reduce global warming and Haritha Haram is a great mission to cut down on the score of global warming. It will help us increase the forest cover. Dr. K. Sukumar said that it is essential to maintain the greenery on the earth to maintain the ecological balance in nature. All the Teaching, Non-Teaching, Regional Accounts Office staff members, timescale and outsourcing staff participated in the programme and 300 Nos. teak plants were planted in K1 Block of Regional Agricultural Research Station, Polasa, Jagtial.
