Telangana Prajaa Paalana Dinotsavam Celebration on 17.09.2024 at Agricultural College, Adilabad

Agricultural College, Adilabad celebrated “Telangana Praja Paalana Dinotsavam” on 17.09.2024 at 8.45 A.M. Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean; all the Teaching, Non-teaching, Outsourcing staff and students of Agricultural College, Adilabad participated in the programme. The National flag was hoisted by Dr. Sreedhar Chauhan, Associate Dean and all the staff in unison sang the National anthem to pay homage to the nation. The Associate Dean enlightened the students about the dynamism shown by Sri. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and emphasized the crucial role played by him towards National Integration Day and stressed upon the role of youth in sustaining democratic Telanagana State with Unity. He also focused that, it is the prime responsibility of every citizen to discharge duties sincerely aimed towards the progress of the nation apart from bringing laurels. Later Dr. M. Suresh, Assistant Professor & OISA, Agricultural College, Adilabad briefed the gathering that Central Government declared September 17th as Hyderabad Liberation Day and Telangana state declared it as ‘Telangana Praja Paalana Dinotsavam’. Further, emphasized that although, India got Independence on August 15, 1947 Hyderabad state got freedom from Nizam rule only on 17th September, 1948 and hence, it is the landmark in the history of Hyderabad. It was followed by floral tributes to national leaders by Teaching, Non-Teaching and Students. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr. M. Suresh, Officer In-charge of Student Affairs.
