Celebration of Telangana Praja Paripalana Dinotsavam on 17.09.2024 at College of Community Science, Saifabad

Telangana Praja Paripalana Dinotsavam was celebrated with splendor at the College of Community Science, Saifabad, on 17th September 2024, commemorating 76 years of Telangana’s transition from monarchy to democracy. This significant day was marked by the participation of the college's teaching, non-teaching staff, and students in the National Flag hoisting ceremony.Dr. G. Swarupa Rani, OSA, welcomed the Associate Dean, staff, and students to the event, gave a thoughtful speech on the historical importance of 17th September. She highlighted the liberation of Hyderabad from the Nizam’s rule and emphasizing the critical role of citizens in governance.At 8:30 a.m., Dr. V. Vijaya Lakshmi, Dean of the Faculty of Community Science, hoisted the National Flag. After that, everyone joined in singing the National Anthem together.Associate Dean Dr. V. Vijaya Lakshmiaddressed the students by enlighten on the significance of the 17th September as Hyderabad Liberation Day, marking the day in 1948 when the previous Hyderabad State was integrated into independent India following the Indian Army’s Operation.The event was witnessed by eight teaching and non-teaching staff members and ten students.
