Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli, Mancherial district organized a training programme on “Importance of Micronutrients” in Horticultural Crops for Rural Youth and also distribution of micronutrients (Arka Vegetable special and Arka Mango special) to SC farmers under Scheduled Caste Sub Plan (SCSP) for the year 2020-21 on 10th December, 2020 at Mamidigattu village of Mandamarri mandal of Mancherial district. Firstly, Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Senior Scientist & Programme Coordinator, KVK Bellampalli addressed the rural youth about the importance and role of micronutrients in plant metabolism and growth in horticultural crops and explained about the nutrient deficiency symptoms and their management by spraying with Arka Vegetable special and Arka Mango special. Further, he also suggested the farmers on the month wise management practices to be adopted in the mango orchards. After that Smt. U. Sravanthi, SMS (Horticulture) interacted with the farmers and explained about the method and dosage of application of the Arka Vegetable special and Arka Mango special in horticultural crops. For this programme, Sri. Velpula Ravi, Z.P.T.C., who was the chief guest of the event, suggested the farmers that make use of the inputs distributed by KVK, Bellampalli and appreciated the KVK, Bellampalli activities towards the Scheduled Caste farmers under SCSP for the year 2020-21. Later, Sri. Manga Srinivas Goud, M.P.P. suggested the farmers to adopt new innovations in the farming by following the advices of KVK, Bellampalli. For this programme Sri. Kota Rayalingu, Sarpanch, Sri. Sattaiah, Vice-Sarpanch and Sri. Rangaya, Co-opted member, Sri. M. Tirupati and Sri. Sheikh Mohammed, Agricultural Extension Officers of Mandamarri mandal and with 70 No. of farmers were participated in this programme.
