Training and Distribution Programme to SC Farmers Under SCSP, 2022-23 KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial Dist. On 11-11-2022

KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial conducted training Programmes on “Better Management Practices of Bengalgram & Greengram” and “Flower & Fruit drop management in Mango”. Also distributed the “High yielding variety of greengram (WGG 42 and MGG 385) to the SC farmers under SCSP 2022-23” dated on 11th November, 2022 KVK, Bellampalli, Mancherial. On this occasion Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Program Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli addressed the gathering on importance of pulses & oil seeds cultivation in yasangi season and management practices, marketing strategies and adaption IFS. Dr. Shivakrishna Kota, SMS (Agril. Extension), addressed the farmers on formation of FPOs, agricultural marketing channels. Later, Dr. I. Thirupathi, SMS (Crop Production) explained the farmers on the Integrated Crop Management Practices of Bengalgram and Greengram. Dr.U.Sravanthi, SMS (Horticulture) explained the farmers about package of practices in mango year round. After that distributed 2.64 quintals of Greengram seed to the SC farmers under SCSP 2022-23. Departmental Staff Sri.Kartik, AEO, Bheemini (M) and a total number of 73 farmers participated in this programme.
