Training programme to Agril. Extension Functionaries of Mancherial District by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Bellampalli on 09.11.2022

As a part of technical programme of work, KVK, Bellampalli organized a 1 day training programme to the Agril. Extension Functionaries of Mancherial District on 9th November, 2022. In this connection, Dr. M. Rajeshwar Naik, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Bellampalli with team of scientists addressed the participants on the significant achievements of KVK, Bellampalli along with Preparedness for yasangi season which includes, Cropping pattern and crop diversification, Importance of Integrated crop management practices in agriculture and horticulture crops, Importance of Integrated farming system, Good management practices to control pest and diseases in agriculture and horticulture crops.Later, Smt. Kalpana, District Agricultural Officer, Mancherial addressed the departmental officials to utilize the suggestions of the Scientists of KVK, Bellampalli to address the farming issues at field level. Later during the morning session, SMS (Crop Production) conducted a training programme on Production Technologies of Alternate Crops to yasangi Rice followed by Effect of Weather and it's Influence on the Incidence of Insect Pests and Diseases in Major Crops of the District by SMS (Plant Protection); Formation of FPOs and it's role in farmers livelihood development by SMS (Agril. Extension) and Preservation techniques in Fruits and Vegetables by SMS (Horticulture) during the afternoon session followed by field visit of instructional farm of KVK, Bellampalli.
