Training Programme on “Agriculture and allied department developmental programmes” by KVK, Malyal on 07.11.2022

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organizedtraining programme on “Agriculture and allied department developmental programmes” at Rythu vedika, Gudur, Mahabubabad district on 07-11-2022. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) explained about different programmes in Agriculture department (Rythu Bandhu Scheme, Seed Village Programme, National Food Security Mission, ATMA, PM-Kisan and other programmes), in Horticulture department (Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture, Rejuvenation of old orchards,Protected Cultivation,NMEO- oil palm and TSMIP), in Fisheries department (Integrated Fisheries Development Scheme,Construction of fish ponds,Construction of Community Halls, Accidental Insurance Scheme to the Fishermen etc),Veterinary and Animal Husbandry (Sheep Rearing Program ,Sheep Insurance programme, Breed Improvement forMilkProduction, Mobile VeterinaryClinics,Sheep & Goat DewormingProgramme and FodderProduction,etc),emphasis on eligibility criteria of different programmes and procedure to apply for different programmes through power point presentation. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about different IPM control measures for thrips control in chilli in initial stages instead of completely depending on insecticides, organic way of raisingoil palm. She has also answered the queries raised by the farmers in present standing crops. Sri M. Lakshminarayaa, ADA, Mahabubabad spoke about subsidy pattern in oil palm cultivation. In this programme, Smt. G. Suchitra, ZPTC, Gudur,Sri M. Rakesh, AO, Gudur, Sri N. Ramesh, Sarpanch, Gudur, Smt. G. Vyjayanthi, AEO, Gudur, Sri G. Anvesh, AEO, Ponugodu and 38no.of farmers participated.
