Training Programme on Awareness on Alternate Crops to Rice in Yasangi, 2021-22 and Distribution of Mustard Seed at Adopted Village, Veldurthy by RARS, Polasa, Jagtial on 09-11-2021
- Reginal Agricultural Research Station, Polasa, Jagtial organized training programme on alternate crops to rice in yasangi, 2021-22 at adopted village, Vedurthy.
- The training programme was started with the brief introduction of importance of crop diversification by D.A. Rajini Devi, in-charge of adopted village programme, RARS, Polasa, Jagtial and she explained about the cost of cultivation and net returns of different crops.
- Dr. P. Revathi, Scientist (Agronomy) explained about the cultivation practices and cut off dates for sowing of different alternate crops to rice in Yasangi, 2021-22.
- Later information material on “Alternate crops to Rice in Yasangi, 2021-22” released by PJTSAU was distributed to the farmers.
- As a part of this programme, mustard seed (NRCHB 101) was distributed to the farmers for Front Line Demonstration (FLD).
- In this programme, D.A. Rajini Devi, Scientist (Ag. Economics), Dr. P. Revathi, Scientist (Agronomy), Raheem, Agricultural Extension Officer, Praveen Goud, Sarpanch, Veldurthy and 20 farmers participated.
