Training programme on Integrated Crop Management in Oil palm orchards at Raithu vedika, Janumpally village on 09.10.2024

KVK, Palem organized a Training programme on Integrated Crop Management in Oil palm orchards at Raithu vedika, Janumpally(V), Kollapur division, Nagar kurnool dist. on 09.10.2024. Training given on Integrated practices like, selection of site, planting, After care, drip irrigation schedule, integrated nutrient, pest and disease management, special practices like Ablation technique and pollinator release, fertigation schedules, bio pesticides application, solar and pheromone traps installation for Rhinoceros beetle and Red palm weevil, inter-cropping systems and post harvest management to the farmers by SMS(Hort.). Sri Laxman, HO, Explained about Mission for edible oil project (oil palm) subsidy pattern and benefits to the farmers. In this Training Dr. Adhi Shankar, SMS (Horticulture), KVK, Palem, Dr.M. Laxman, Horticulture officer, kollapur, Rakesh, Pre- Unique oil palm area manager and chandra shekhar, Ajay, Govardhan, oil palm field officers & 62 farmers were participated.
