Training cum input distribution programme on “Distribution of small farm implements, inputs to tribal farmers of Nagarkurnool dist” under TSP for the year 2021-22 by AICRP on Forage crops at KVK, Palem on 09.09.2022

AICRP on Forage crops in with collaboration of KVK, Palem has organized training cum input distribution programme to tribal farmers of Errannabavi thand, Naryanaik thand and Gangaram villages of Nagarkurnool dist under TSP-2021-22 at KVK, Palem on 09.09.2022. The guests of inaugural programme were Dr.M. Goverdhan, ADR, RARS, Palem, Dr. Seshikala, Principal scientist & Head, AICRP on Forage crops, Dr.Bajali Naik, Principle Scientist, Dr.Sukruth Kumar, Senior Scientist, and Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem. In this programme Dr. M. Goverdhan, ADR, RARS, Palem addressed on importance of farm implements and its utilization in agriculture and briefed about Integrated farming systems (IFSs) suitable for dry land farmers for the benefit of farming community. Dr. Seshikala, Principal scientist & Head, AICRP on Forage crops briefed about Tribal Sub Plan programme activities for doubling of farmer’s income and emphasized on importance of forage crops. Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem explained about the rabi pulses suitable for Nagarkurnool dist. In this programme distributed input like tarpalin sheets, farm implements like sickle, farm shade, cutters, green gram seed, fodder plant materials and vegetable seed kits to farmers. In this programme KVK, Palem staff, AICRP on Forage crops staff and a total of 152 farm women and farmers were participated.
