Training Programme on "Interior Decoration Product Making" under ICAR SC-SP 2022-23

A two day training programme on “Interior Decoration Product Making” was organized by Dept. of RMCS, College of Community Science, PJTSAU for 50 SC women at B.R. Ambedkar Community Hall, 22 - Division, Pochamma Maidan, Kothawada of Warangal Mandal, Telangana under ICAR-SC-SP 2022-23 on 24/03/2023 and 25/03/2023. This training programme was aimed to offer skill enhancement with the objective of entrepreneurship development for SC women beneficiaries. The programme was organized by the Programme Co-ordinator Dr. E.Shirin Hima Bindu, Assistant Professor, Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, CCSc and Resource Person Dr. M. Milcah Paul, Teaching Associate, Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, CCSc under the guidance of Dr. V. Vijaya Lakshmi, Professor and UHoD, Department of Resource Management and Consumer Science, CCSc and Dr. D. Ratna Kumari, Associate Dean, College of Community Science, PJTSAU. Fifty training kits were distributed to the participants having all the material required to prepare Lippan art, Glass painting, Paper bags, Candle making, Flowers made with stocking cloth and Fabric painting for interior furnishings which were demonstrated by the Resource Person. Trainees have actively participated and shown interest in setting up an enterprise.
