Millets are important crops for dry land farmers; they are highly nutritious and are a climate-compliant crop. Overall millets consumption in India has declined over the years. In order to revive the demand for millets in India, government and non-government is the led a consortium funding to undertake interventions. In this contest a two days training programme was conducted with the financial support of ICAR -SC -SUB PLAN -AED 2022-2023 on “Entrepreneurship Development through Millet Value Addition” from 03.04.2023 to 04.04.2023 at MPIC. Rural SC farm women (20 no.) and one coordinator from Gonguloor (V), Pulkal(M), Sangareddy (Dist) were given training in primary processing, secondary processing and bakery products. At the end of the second day Valedictory programme was conducted. Dr. D. Ratna Kumari, Dean Faculty of Community Science, Rajendranagar attended as chief guest for the valedictory session. Dr. Seema, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Agricultural engineering, Nodal officer ICAR was the Guest of Honour. Dr. B. Anila Kumari Assistant Professor and Officer incharge MPIC was the course coordinator.
