Collaborative Training Program on “Mobile Journalism (MOJO) for effective Transfer of Technology for Extension Officers from 11-15th July 2022

Electronic Wing, PJTSAU and MANAGE, Hyderabad has jointly organized online training programme on “Mobile Journalism for effective Transfer of Technology for Extension Officers” from 11th – 15th July, 2022. Chief guest of the Inaugural session Dr. V.Sudha Rani Director of Extension,PJTSAU, Hyderabad in her introductory remarks stated that.Today journalism through smart phones proves to be creative and innovative methods of communicating the agricultural advisories in real time to the farmers. Dr.R.Jagadeeshwar,Director of Research, PJTSAU, Chief guest of the valedictory session said that biggest and most powerful significant breakthrough of 21st century has been the introduction and proliferation of the Smart phone and MOJO, can be instrumental inreal time communicating the agro advisories to the farmer and requested the participants to use the skills learnt through this training and serve the farmers and clients in better way. Dr.Atul Sinha, Sr.Asst.Professor, AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islam, New Delhi presented “Emergence of MOJO-Opportunities and future challenges in Agriculture, Dr.S.Rajesh Khanna, Director, Arcus Excellence Academy, Rajahmundry dealt with Video Journalism Effective Video making by using Smart Phone. Dr. Lavanya Srinivas,Creative space Studios,Chennai. Presented Mobile Story telling and Hands on experience on Mobile Story telling,Mr. Melwin Sam, Creative Director, Couch Potato Video Production House described the new generation tool for extension with special focus on You tube channel and Prof. F.B. Khan Professor of Photography AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islam, New Delhi, dealt with photo taking and Smart phone editing during hands on experience session.
