Skill Training programme on Nutri garden and organic farming in vegetable cultivation was conducted at KVK, Kampasagar from 24 th, 26 th and 27 th, June, 2023.

Skill Training programme on Nutri garden and organic farming in vegetable cultivation was conducted at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kampasagar for three (03) days i.e., from 24th, 26th and 27th June, 2023. The programme was inaugurated on 24th June 2023 by Dr. S. Srinivasa Rao, Programme Coordinator, Dr. K. Chandra Shaker, SMS (Crop Production), Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) and Smt. S. Pallavi, SMS (Extension). First day, Smt. G. Swathi, Assistant Professor (Horticulture) delivered lecture on Establishment of Nutri garden, 2nd day lecture delivered on Suitable vegetable for kharif and rabi seasons and their cultivation methods and on 3rd day Dr. K. Chandra Shaker, SMS (Crop Production ) delivered lecture on Organic farming in vegetables. On 3rd day valedictory was conducted for this programme Sri Vinay Kumar, DDM, NABARD, Nalgonda Dist was attended as Chief Guest and he motivated farmers to grow vegetables and demand for organic products in the market. Later, Dr. S. Srinivasa Rao, Programme Coordinator explained about vertical garden establishing at KVK. Smt. S. Pallavi explained about the components of nutri garden that is being maintained at KVK, Kampasagar to the farmers.
