Agricultural College, Jagtial has organized a “Training Programme on Personality Development for Faculty and Students” on 23-04-2022 under ICAR Developmental grants. Dr.S.Narender Reddy, Associate Dean was the chairperson and Dr.T.Sravan Kumar and Dr.O. Sampath acted as the conveners for the programme. Mr.Rajesh Murthy, founder of LEAD institute of personality development was the guest speaker for the programme. Dr. S. Narender Reddy, Associate Dean addressed the gathering and emphasised about the importance of time and stress management for every individual to build a healthy environment around them. Dr. M. Uma Devi, Associate Director of Research, RARS in her speech said about the link between mind and soul for enhancing the concentration in individuals. She also emphasised on spirituality in building one’s own capabilities in accomplishing the tasks. Dr. O. Sampath, Asst. Professor and OISA, in his address said about the skills and their role in improving the competency among the faculty and students. Mr. Rajesh Murthy in his speech focussed on various memorising methods, one’s own beliefs and skills in coping up different problems in day to day life. He also gave tips on time management, individual goal settings, improving human relationships, stress management and relaxation. He further, said that effective communication skills among the faculty and students will help in improving the individuals life style and their professional growth. All the teaching and 2nd & 3rd year B.Sc (Hons.)Ag. students had participated in the training programme. The programme has ended with the feed back of the students.
