Organized “Training programme on Plant protection Measures in Yasangi crops under DAPSC (SCSP), 2024-25” at KVK, Malyal on 25-01-2025

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malyal organized training programme on Plant protection Measures in Yasangi crops under DAPSC (SCSP), 2024-25 at Kolhapuram village of Gudur Mandal on 25-01-2025. Dr. N. Kishore Kumar, SMS (Extension) & Co-PI of the project briefed about the objectives of this training programme, explained the activities to be taken up in the project and different ICT tools in agriculture. Dr. S. Malathi, Programme Coordinator explained about importance of Direct seeding, dry seeding (Dry and Wet seeding), drum seeding technology, Pest and diseases management in Paddy, Fall armyworm management in maize, sucking pest management in pulses and explained about importance of integrated pest management practices like installation of yellow sticky traps, pheromone traps, border crop, usage of Trichoderma and Pseudomonas, PSB application in different crops. In this programme 26 farmers beneficiaries from Kolhapur village participated.
