Training Programme on Dry flower crafting at Agricultural College, Aswaraopet on 20-02-2020

Training programme on Dry flower crafting was held on 20.02.2020 as a part of SC sub plan project. In this training, ladies, UG and PG college girls (VKDVS Degree College and AWARE polytechnic college) were invited from Adopted village- Narayanapuram, Peraigudem and Aswaraopet. Programme was started by Associate Dean, Dr. C. Narendra Reddy by lighting the lamp and was forwarded by Dr. I. V. Srinivasa Reddy. In this programme other teaching were actively took part in delivering various lectures viz., Economic importance, Status and Scope of Dry flower industry was delivered by Dr. P. Neelima, Methods of Flower preservation by Dr. I. V. Srinivasa reddy and Entrepreneurial avenues of Dry flower industry by Dr. K. Sireesha were delivered and in the afternoon session Hands on training was conducted, in this trainees has prepared various dry flower products viz., greeting cards, frames, wreaths, hair dress, floral bangles, potpourris etc.
