Training Programme on “Management of Nutri Garden/ Kitchen Garden” and “Nutritional Value of fruits and vegetables” for Anganwadi Teachers & Farmwomen under Poshana Abhiyan Programme at KVK, Malayalam on 19-09-2020

A training programme “Management of Nutri Garden/ Kitchen Garden” and “Nutritional Value of fruits and vegetables” was conducted by KVK, Malyal under Poshan Maah 2020 on 19-09-2020 at Anganwadi Centre of Eedulapusapalli village of Mahabubabad Mandal. KVK, Malyal Scientist Smt. A. Ramulamma, SMS (Plant Protection) given the lecture on Management of Nutri Garden/ Kitchen Garden and explained about spatial arrangement cultivation of vegetables at home and how to manage the pest and disease problems in Nutri Gardens, production of organic vegetables at home with usage of kitchen waste, etc and management techniques of leafy vegetables cultivation. In this following session, Smt. D. Usha Sri, SMS (Agromet) talked about nutritional value of fruits and vegetables and given lecture on balanced diet and diet chart to the pregnant ladies and others for immune boosting to live healthy life. 25 No.of anganwadi workers and farmwomen participated in the programme.
