Strategies of Soil Health Management for Sustainable Crop Productivity” at RARS, Warangal on 29-05-2024

Organised season long training programme to the farmers on“ strategies of soil health management for sustainable crop productivity” at rars, warangal on 29-05-2024 in this programme explained about the Importance of soil testing and method of collection of soil samples: Farmers are applying excess and imbalanced fertilizer dose to crops due to which soil health is deteriorating currently. Hence, it is suggested that soil test based fertilizer application is recommended to the crops. The soil testing is an essential tool for making fertilizer recommendations to various crops and cropping sequences, it predict the probable crop response to applied nutrients and also classify soils into different fertility groups for preparing soil fertility maps and to identify the type and degree of soil related problems like acidity, salinity, alkalinity etc., to suggest appropriate reclamation or amelioration measures. In this programme ADR, AGM, NABARD, DAO Warangal and Coordinator DAAT centre was participated.
