Telangana Formation Day Celebrations at Agricultural College, Siricilla on 02-06-2020

The 6th Telanagana state formation day was celebrated with teaching, non-teaching and out sourced personnel of college as well as hostels on 02.06.2020 at Agricultural College, Siriclla. The programme was commenced at 9 AM with the introduction and the significance of the day by Mr. T. Arunbabu, OISA. The Associate Dean of the college paid the floral tributes to Professor Jayashankar sir and the other leaders, who sacrificed their lives for achievement of Telangana. The flag was hoisted by the Associate Dean followed by national anthem. While speaking on the occasion the Associate Dean enlightened the importance of the Telangana Formation day, and how Telangana was lagging in growth after that it has become one of the productive states and how it is moving forward on both development and welfare of the people. Indeed the importance of Agriculture was highlighted for achievement of “Bangaru Telanagana”. Later, Dr. Razia Sulthana and Dr. K. Rajesh have shared their views on the importance of the Telangana formation day. The programme concluded with paying the mourning for 2 mns in remembrance of the people who sacrified for Telangana movement. The college buildings are embellished with the lights in commemoration of the day. Later snacks are distributed to all.
