Telangana Formation Day Celebrations at RARS, Palem on 02.06.2024 on 27.05.2024

Telangana State Formation Day or Telangana Avirbhava Dinothsavam (Dashabdhi Uthsavalu) was celebrated at RARS, Palem on 02.06.2024. The programme was started with garlanding the photo of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar by Dr. M. Malla Reddy, Associate Director of Research, STZ and all the taching and non teaching staff offered floral tributes. Later, Dr. M. Malla Reddy, ADR hoisted the National Flag which was followed by singing of National Anthem and Telangana song. Dr. M. Malla Reddy, ADR has addressed the gathering and remembered the efforts laid by the Telangana people under the guidance of great leaders for achieving our Telangana state. He emphasized that achieving the state is not the end and every one in their respective capabilities should deliver their duties to strengthen the state in all respects. Further, Associate Director of research highlighted about the huge response of farmers towards our university developed varieties seed on seed mela 2024. On the occasion of Telangana formation day the RARS, Palem office building was illuminated from 1st June to 3rd June, 2024. The event was ended with distribution of sweets among the gathering.
