Telangana State Formation Day celebrations at RARS, Palem, Nagarkurnool Dist. on 02-06-2021

Telangana State Formation Day or Telangana Avirbhava Dinothsavam was celebrated at RARS, Palem on 02.06.2021. The scientists of RARS Palem, non- teaching staff participated in the celebrations amid of COVID-19 by maintaining a proper social distancing and followed safety measures. The programme was started with garlanding the photo of Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar and other national leaders by Dr.Ch.Damodar Raju, ADR, RARS, Palem, Dr.T.Prabhakar Reddy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Palem followed by floral tribute by individual scientists and other non-teaching staff. Later, ADR Dr.Ch.Damodar Raju hoisted the National Flag which was followed by playing of National Anthem. The ADR Dr.Ch.Damodar Raju and scientists addressed the gathering and remembered the efforts laid by the Telangana people under the guidance of great leaders for achieving our separate state. They emphasized that achieving the state is not the end and every one in their respective capabilities should deliver their duties to strengthen the state in all respects. Further, highlighted that all scientific staff should work hard and deliver their contributions for the advancement of farming community and at the same time being safe and cautious towards COVID-19 pandemic.
