Two Days Training Programme on Value Addition of Fruits & Vegetables Under SCSP Conducted at KVK, Kampasagar From 17-07-2020 to 18-07-2020

The two days training programme on value addition of fruits and vegetables under SC Sub Plan was started on 17.07.2020. On day 1, Dr.M.A. Aariff Khan, Programme Coordinator & Head KVK, Kampasagar chaired the inaugural session and briefed about the importance of fruits, vegetables and value addition for higher income in off season and utilize the benefit of the training programme. Smt.G. Krishnaveni, Research Associate (Home Science) training programme i/c explained about nutritional importance of fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Smt. N. Sugandi, SMS (Home Science) KVK, Gaddipally as Resource person taken practical session and shown the value addition techniques and preparation of mixed fruit jam and jelly. On day 2, The Research Associate (Home Science) shown demonstration of Tomato Sauce followed by Carrot Pickle, Grape Squash, Papaya Jelly, Jelly by involving trainees. Finally the feed back also recorded. The trainees felt happy and satisfaction by learning simple techniques and easy preparation of value added products.
