Valedictory Programme of National Conference on use of Fly Ash in Agriculture, Forestry and other Applications on 18-12-2019 at PJTSAU, Hyderabad

The 2 day National Conference on use of Fly Ash in Agriculture, Forestry and other Applications was concluded here on 18.12.2019 at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural university Auditorium, Rajednranagar. Sri.S. Niranjanreddy, Minister for Agriculture, Telangana State attended as chief guest for the valedictory program. Agricultural Minister stated that, the newly formed Telangana State is spending on agriculture is about 65 to 70 thousand crores every year, which is only the state in the country is spending such huge amount for the benefit and welfare of the farmers under the able leadership of the Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekar Rao. He said that, we must educate the farmers about the best nutrient values and how it improves the soil health etc. Further he stated, the abundant availability of fly ash in the country may help the farmers to reduce their input costs by applying as pesticide as well as organic manure etc., and there fore it will contribute for the doubling of farmers income. He assured that, government of Telangana is keen to implement the recommendations came from these 2 day national conference and also he said, agricultural university is also very proactive to implement best technologies for the benefit of farmers in the State. This 2 day National Conference was jointly organised by PJTSAU and Delhi based NGO C Farm. Dr. vimal kumar, secretary general, C FARM has presented the birds eyeview of the two day conference. Dr.D.Ramarao, Former Director, NAARM, Dr. Rawat, Dr R Jagadeeshwar, DR, PJTSAU were also spoke on this occasion.
